1. Introduction
MetricSuite ("we", "our", or "the Service") is an analytics and metrics dashboard that helps you view Stripe revenue, traffic, and customer data in one place. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Service.
2. Information We Collect
We collect:
- Account data: email address and password (hashed) when you register.
- Integration data: Stripe restricted API keys you provide are stored encrypted and used only to fetch your Stripe metrics (customers, subscriptions, invoices). We do not store raw payment card data.
- Usage data: sites you add, traffic events (path, referrer, device, country, UTM) from the tracking script you embed, and signup events you send via our Signup API.
- Technical data: IP address and similar data used for security and to infer country when not provided.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve the Service: to authenticate you, display your Stripe and traffic metrics, store your sites and registered-user data, run scheduled jobs (e.g. daily snapshots), and respond to support requests. We do not sell your personal data.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account and integration data for as long as your account is active. Traffic events and snapshots are retained according to our internal retention policy. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
5. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption of sensitive fields (e.g. Stripe API keys), secure cookies for sessions, and secure connections (HTTPS). You are responsible for keeping your password and API keys confidential.
6. Third-Party Services
We use Stripe (when you connect your key) to fetch your billing data. Our tracking script and APIs may use third-party services for geolocation (e.g. IP lookup). Their privacy policies apply to their processing. We do not share your personal data with advertisers.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights. You may also disable the tracking script on your sites at any time.
8. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
