Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By signing up for or using Metric Suite ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

The Service provides a dashboard to view analytics and metrics, including data from your Stripe account (when you connect a restricted API key), traffic data from a tracking script you install, and registered-user data you send via our APIs. We do not provide Stripe, hosting, or your underlying product; we aggregate and display data you authorize us to access.

3. Account and Security

You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your password and API keys secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable laws.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems.
• Transmit malware, spam, or content that infringes others' rights.
• Resell or sublicense the Service without our written permission.
• Use the tracking script or APIs in a way that violates the privacy of end users (e.g. without appropriate disclosure where required by law).

We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.

5. Subscription and Payment

Paid plans are billed according to the pricing published on our website. If you start a free trial, you authorize us to charge your payment method automatically at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before the trial ends. Except where required by law, subscription fees are non-refundable. If you initiate a chargeback without first contacting us to resolve the issue, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account. If you believe you were billed in error, you must contact support within 14 days of the charge. We may change pricing with notice; continued use after the change constitutes acceptance.

6. Billing, Renewals, and Payment Processing

Payments for subscriptions are processed by our payment partner Creem. When you purchase a subscription, Creem collects billing information and payment method details in accordance with its own privacy policy. We do not store full payment card information.

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled prior to renewal. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings, and cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.

7. Your Data

You retain ownership of your data. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display your data as necessary to provide and improve the Service. Traffic and analytics data are typically retained for up to 6 months unless you request deletion earlier. Our use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We are not liable for decisions you make based on data displayed in the Service or for any third-party services (e.g. Stripe) you connect.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we and our affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or for any other reason with notice where feasible. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases; we may retain data as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated by email or in-product notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
